Surfing

Always wanted to get better at surfing? We work together with the best surf teacher in the area. His name is Juan Carlos and he speaks fluent English and Spanish. No matter what level you’re at, whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or advanced surfer: he is the one to get you to the next level. Juan Carlos is friendly, patient and will absolutely make you feel comfortable in the water. You can take lessons alone or with a friend.

Sailing

Enjoy an amazing day sailing on the water, taking advantage of Nicaragua’s unique offshore winds.
During the sailing day tour, the boat will sail up to the private beach Playa Blanca. It’s perfect to swim, relax, hang out and partake in other activities on the beautiful white sand beach.
If conditions and winds are good, you can fish along the way to the beach and have a chance to catch mackerel, tuna and mahi mahi. When sailing back to San Juan Del Sur with the sun setting in the background you will have a really good chance to see dolphins, turtles, and whales, as well as lots of other wildlife.

• Food: Tons of Fresh Snacks, Veggies, Chips, Ceviche, Guacamole etc.

Fishing

Dive down in the depths of the beautiful pacific on a fishing tour. Gear is provided for so jump on board with a professional captain for a fun day out at sea.

Turtles

Watch baby turtles being set free on a beautiful beach during the sunset. The most magical thing to see is when a baby turtle finds his first way into the ocean. Arrive a few hours early to enjoy the beach or combine it with a surf trip on beaches nearby.

Horseback riding on the beach

Saddle up for an hour and a half horse ride along Playa Maderas and surrounding beaches. The horse rides cater to all experience levels, beginners to advanced.

• Pick up by horse from Hush

Disk golf / Frisbee golf

The first Frisbee golf course in Nicaragua is only a 10 to 15 minute walk from Hush. It costs approximately $2 per day to play as many rounds as you like. No experience required.

Canopy tour

Have a blast in the adventure park Las Nubes! You can do the canopy tour, the Tarzan swing, rappel and walking trails. The park has beautiful viewpoints and jungle trails. It has an onsite restaurant where drinks and food can be enjoyed.

Massages

Thai Massage

Our massage therapist Sanne Hofman specializes in traditional Thai massage. A combination of yoga stretches and acupressure are working on energy (SEN) lines. This will bring you deep relaxation, increased flexibility and pain relief. Relief energetic blockages during a 1.5 hour Thai Massage.

We work with several massage therapists. They are specialized in Swedish massage, it’s a relaxing massage or an intuitive blend based on your needs.

The sports masseuse we work with is Dunia. She lives just down the hill and is a certified massage therapist specialized in shiatsu and deep tissue massage.
